Lasagne with Pork and Cheese
We continue with the Italian recipes. Pork ragù layered with ricotta, mozzarella and Parmesan.
Ingredients
Steps
- Sauté the onion and garlic in a pan with oil, letting the flavors intensify over low heat for about 5 minutes.
- Add the ground pork and brown it. Deglaze with the white wine and let the alcohol evaporate.
- Add the tomato purée, salt, pepper, oregano and basil. Let it simmer for about 1 hour over low heat.
- Follow the package instructions to use the uncooked lasagne. Create the first layer by covering the bottom of a casserole dish with sauce.
- Add a layer of lasagne and cover with the ricotta and Parmesan mixture, then another layer of sauce. Continue for 3 layers of pasta.
- Top with the remaining sauce, mozzarella and Parmesan.
- Bake in a preheated 390°F oven for 35 minutes. When done, the sauce should bubble and the cheese should be golden and crusty around the edges.
Tip: Let the lasagne rest 10 minutes before cutting so the layers hold together.
